Getting Started

TaxLedge is ACT's financial accounting system for tax offices. While linking directly to the ACT Tax Collection system, it allows tax offices to manage jurisdiction remittances, taxpayer refunds, and check writing. An extensive reporting system is also included in the system.

There are three ways to find information in the TaxLedge Help system:

Contents - Select the Contents tab, then click a topic in the Contents list to see its related help in the right window.
Index - Select the Index tab, then type in a keyword. The system will scroll automatically to the entry closest to that word. Double-click the desired entry to display the help information.
Search - Select the Search tab, type in the word(s) to search for, then press Enter. All related topics containing the word(s) will be displayed. Double-click a topic to see the help information in the right window.
