Locked Portfolio Summary Report

This report gives a list of the locked portfolios for your tax office, sorted by lock ID.  Data provided includes the portfolio login names, the lock IDs for the portfolios, the date each lock was created, the number of accounts in each locked portfolio, and the total amount due in each of the locked portfolios. The Detail section lists account numbers, year and tax units that were to be paid with this portfolio, and the amount locked.

  1. From the Main Menu, click on Products, then Batch Products.  The ACT Batch Menu will appear.  
  2. Click on the Locked Portfolio Summary Report line, batch menu no. 110.
  3. Press Enter. The parameter screen for this report appears.
  4. Enter your tax office's ACT 7 Client ID.
  5. In the Begin Lock Date field, enter the first date for which you want to include locked portfolio data.
  6. In the End Lock Date field, enter the last date for which you want to include locked portfolio data.
  7. Leave the Lock ID field blank if you want to return all lock ID information for a given date range. if you enter a specific lock ID, only data for that lock, including the accounts and amounts that were locked, will appear. If you enter a lock ID, you do not need to provide a date range.
  8. In the Show Credit Card Transactions Only field, enter Y to limit the data to locked portfolios paid by credit card; otherwise, leave this field blank.
  9. In the Show eCheck Transactions Only field, enter Y to limit the data to locked portfolios paid by eCheck; otherwise, leave this field blank.
  10. In the Show Details field, enter Y if you want to see the account numbers for the locked portfolios in addition to the totals. If you entered a date range and want to see the account numbers, you can enter Y or leave this field blank. To not show the account numbers, enter N.
  11. Click Submit Job to start the report process.  
  12. Click OK on the "OK to Submit Job" pop-up screen.
