Saving a .pdf:

You can save any report, statement, or receipt created as a .pdf file.  Often you cannot do this from the ACT 7 batch menu screens, but you can do this in Acrobat Reader.

If you have created a.pdf file that you want to save, make sure you do save it almost immediately. Acrobat Reader only stores the five most recent .pdf files created with your Oracle user name.

  1. Open Acrobat Reader.
  2. Select File on the menu at the top of the screen.
  3. Select one of the files listed at the bottom of the drop-down list.  The files will be named "C:\Documents and Settings..\rrpXX.pdf," where XX is a number.  You may need to select more than one file to find the one you want.
  4. After the file you want is displayed on the screen, select File, then Save As..
  5. Browse to the file directory in which you want to save the file.
  6. If desired, rename the file in the Object Name field.
  7. Click Save.
  8. To close the file so you can select another one, select File, then Close.
  9. Exit Acrobat Reader by selecting File, then Exit (or press CTRL+Q).
