Annual Declarations

  1. From the Yearly Summary screen, click View Annual Declaration.
  2. From the next screen, verify the Breakdown of Sales (number of units sold) Last Year and Breakdown of Sales Amounts Last Year. These should be the total number of sales and the total sales amount for the Filing Year being displayed.
  3. For dealerships who began entering data after the first of the current year, the fields on this screen are left blank. Dealers may manually enter the sales numbers and sales amounts. Enter 0 if no sales were recorded for a particular vehicle type. For other dealers, these fields are populated automatically and may not be changed.
  4. If these are correct, click Close Year.
  5. The Inventory Declaration, Form 50-244 or a similar form appears on your screen. Scroll down to verify that all of the information is correct.
  6. In the Attachments section of the form, enter the dealer's name, address, and account number in the fields indicated (with a yellow background).
  7. If you are ready to generate the annual declaration, click Submit This Form to the Tax Office. If not, click Go Back.
  8. If desired, print the report from the next screen for your records.
  9. Click Go Back to continue working in the SIT Portal.
  10. Click View Form if you want to see the annual declaration again.
  11. Click Yearly Summary to continue working with the same dealer. You can also either click Dealerships to work with a different dealer or click Logout to leave the SIT Portal.
  12. Mail this annual declaration to the Tax Office.
